How we verify reviews
Our review badge is our own. No third party issues it. Here is exactly what it means and how our review pages work.
The “Verified install” badge
A review shows the badge only when our systems confirm all of the following:
- The order was paid in full.
- The installation was marked complete by the installer.
- The customer signed off on the finished work with their signature.
- The customer wrote the review on that same sign-off screen.
The badge shows the month of sign-off. Reviews left later through a review link, or before we started collecting reviews at sign-off, can still appear, but without the badge.
Our review rules
We never edit review text. What you read is what the customer wrote.
The average includes every rating. Our average and review count cover every star rating from real customers, including low ratings and reviews we don’t display.
The list shows 4-star-and-up reviews only. Our review pages display reviews rated 4 or 5 stars that include written comments. We say so next to the average.
Customers choose whether to share. We only display a review if the customer agreed to share it, and we show only their first name, last initial, and city.
Hidden reviews still count. We may remove a review from display if it contains personal information or offensive language. Its rating still counts in the average.
No incentives. We don’t pay or reward customers for reviews, and we ask every customer the same way, whatever their experience.
Test and demo orders are excluded from everything on these pages.
