Affiliate Program Terms

You must be at least 18 years old, able to receive payments in the United States, and able to provide the tax information our payment processor requires. Employees and contractors of Install Direct, and installers in our network, may not participate without written approval. We may decline or remove any applicant at our discretion, including where the intended promotion method is inconsistent with these Terms.

One email address may participate in one Install Direct referral program only. A person who is on a dealer team under our Dealer Program earns through that dealer and may not also enrol as an independent Affiliate.

On approval you receive a unique referral code and link, which you may also download as a QR code from your portal. A scan of your QR code is treated as a click on your link. A visitor who arrives through your link is attributed to you for 60 days from the most recent click (“last click wins”). If that visitor pays for an installation within the window, the sale is credited to you. Attribution is recorded by a browser cookie; a visitor who blocks or clears cookies, or who checks out on a different device, may not be attributable, and no commission is owed in that case.

You may not alter the link, set cookies by any means other than a genuine click, or use redirects, iframes, or scripts that set attribution without the visitor choosing to visit our site.

The commission is 15% of the net profit of the attributed order. Net profit means the price the customer paid for the equipment and installation, after any discounts or promo codes applied to the order and before sales tax, minus the cost of the equipment on the order, minus the installing contractor’s share of the remainder (the contractor’s share is the payout split assigned to that installation, or our default split where none is assigned). Where that figure is zero or negative, no commission is owed. Sales tax, financing charges, permit and inspection fees passed through at cost, and any amount the customer does not ultimately pay are excluded.

The net profit, the rate, and the resulting commission are recorded on each commission at the time the sale is made and are shown in your portal. We may change your rate for future sales with notice through the portal or by email.

Commissions arise only from installs paid for by real customers. Nobody is paid for recruiting or for signing up other affiliates, and any example, calculator, or estimate we publish shows how the math works; it is not a promise or a typical result, and what you earn depends entirely on the installs your referrals pay for.

You may invite other people to join the Program as affiliates using your sponsor link. An affiliate who joins through your sponsor link is your Tier 2; an affiliate who joins through a Tier 2’s sponsor link is your Tier 3. Tier 3 is the last tier: a Tier 3 affiliate cannot sponsor anyone. A sponsor is recorded when the account is created and is not changed afterwards except by Install Direct to correct an error.

Every affiliate earns their own commission under section 3 on their own attributed sales. In addition, on each attributed sale by an affiliate you sponsored directly, Install Direct pays you an override of 5% of the net profit of that order, and on each attributed sale by an affiliate they sponsored, an override of 2.5% of the net profit. Overrides are paid by Install Direct and never reduce the selling affiliate’s commission. They are recorded, approved, paid, voided, and clawed back on the same terms as commissions. No override is owed on a sale that earns no commission (for example a self-referral), to a sponsor whose account is terminated, or while a sponsor’s account is paused and under review.

Pyramid safeguards. There is no fee to join, nothing to buy, no inventory, and no minimum sales or purchases for you or anyone you sponsor. No compensation of any kind is paid for recruiting, for the number of people you sponsor, or for anyone’s purchases of their own; overrides arise only from installations paid for by real customers who are not participants. You may not tell anyone that they will earn money by joining, present earnings as typical or guaranteed, or require anyone to recruit. We may change the override rates for future sales with notice.

You may not earn commission on your own purchases, on purchases made with your email address or phone number, or on purchases you fund or arrange for a member of your household. Such sales are not attributed, and any commission created on them will be rejected. Repeated attempts are grounds for termination.

You may promote your link in your own content, on your own social accounts, in email you are permitted to send, and in paid advertising for your own site or content. You may not:

• bid on “Install Direct”, “installdirect.pro”, or misspellings or variations of them as keywords in any paid search or shopping campaign, or use them in ad copy or display URLs;
• register domains, social handles, or app listings that include our name or could be confused with us;
• represent yourself as Install Direct, as an employee, or as an authorized seller;
• send unsolicited bulk email or messages, or place the link where the site’s rules prohibit affiliate links;
• make claims about pricing, warranties, financing, or availability that our website does not make;
• offer cash back, rebates, or other incentives funded by your commission unless we approve it in writing.

You must clearly and conspicuously disclose that you earn a commission when you recommend Install Direct, wherever you share your link, as the FTC endorsement guides and platform rules require. A short line next to the link is enough; hiding it in a footer or behind a click is not.

A commission (and any override) is created as pending when the customer’s payment in full for the order is recorded. It is approved automatically when the customer signs and accepts completion of the installation and the job is verified, with no open dispute, hold, or refund; otherwise our office reviews it and approves, adjusts, or rejects it. We may hold a commission for review where the order looks related to you, the customer’s information matches yours, or the promotion method appears to breach these Terms. If an order is cancelled or refunded in whole or part before payout, the commission is voided or reduced accordingly. If a refund occurs after a commission has been paid, the paid amount is deducted from your next payout, or you agree to repay it on request.

Approved commissions and overrides are paid by direct deposit (ACH) from our bank, Mercury, to the bank account you add in your portal. You must complete a W-9 before your first payout. For your protection, a new or changed bank account must be confirmed from your account email, and payouts to it begin only after a three-business-day safety hold; a payout your bank returns is sent again once you add a correct account. A payout is started automatically when the order’s commission is approved on customer-accepted completion; where it cannot be sent automatically (for example your payout account is not set up yet) it waits and our office pays it once it can, or pays it in the next batch. We may turn automatic payouts off and pay in batches instead, typically within 30 days of approval. There is no minimum balance, but we may defer a payout while any of your commissions is under review, until your payout account is complete, or where a legal or fraud concern exists. Amounts are shown and paid in U.S. dollars.

You are an independent affiliate, not an employee, agent, partner, or franchisee of Install Direct, and you have no authority to bind us. You are responsible for all taxes on commission income. Our payment processor collects your tax information and will issue an IRS Form 1099 where required.

Your portal shows the name of each referred customer, the order number, dates, and amounts, so you can reconcile your commissions. For overrides you see the affiliate who made the sale, their tier, and the amounts, never the customer’s contact details. You may not use that information for any other purpose, and you receive no other customer data. Customers are Install Direct customers; their relationship, contract, and service are with us and the installing contractor.

Either of us may end your participation at any time. We may pause your account (your link stops attributing new sales) or terminate it for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or conduct that in our judgment harms our brand or customers. On termination for breach, unpaid commissions are forfeited. On termination for any other reason, approved commissions earned before the termination date are paid in the ordinary course.

We may change the commission rate, the override rates, the attribution window, or these Terms for future sales by posting an updated version and giving notice through your portal or by email. Continued use of your link after the effective date is acceptance. Commissions already earned are not reduced by a change.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you under the Program is limited to the commissions properly earned and unpaid at the time of the claim. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages, or for attribution failures caused by browser settings, third-party platforms, or your own promotion methods.
